Unable to communicate with SM2 Extensions
Solution
Some SM2 Extensions products needs to connect to our server to validate the licence during installation of the licence key.
If your server is behind a firewall that does not allow it to contact the outside world then this error can occur.
The ip address of our server is 119.148.65.146, and the port is 80, in case you need it to allow it through a firewall.
SM2 Extensions products only contacts the server on the initial installation of the licence key and then once every 20 - 60 days to be sure that the licence is still valid.
If you are installing the licence on a development server we recommend that you do not. Because a SM2 Extensions licence is limited to the single hostname and ip of the server it is installed on it is not recommended you use the licence key on development servers. We can reset a licence key upon request if your hostname or ip address changes, however we reserve the right to limit the number of times we will reset a licence key.
