Solution The "licence.ioncube.php is not permissioned" error is usually due to the file being copied from one location to another incorrectly. If you FTPed the files from one location to another they should be FTP in BINARY mode rather than the default ASCII.

To solve this issue simply uninstall and reinstall the extension. You will not loose any data except for your configuration during the uninstall, so simply record your SM2 Email Marketing Configuration options somewhere and then uninstall and reinstall.
